Join us for a flash picket (with appropriate physical distancing) in Vancouver to show our clear opposition to Israel’s new annexation plans.
Bring your keffiyeh to use as a mask and come out to be part of the cross-Canada and global actions to say NO Israeli annexation, apartheid and occupation!

Since the signing of the defunct Oslo Accords, Israel has at least tripled the number of illegal settlers, pushing Palestinians off their lands, crippling Palestinian agriculture and development, and then killing or injuring Palestinians who dare to protest. Palestinians demand justice now, and have issued a call for international sanctions against Israel.
Canadian PM Trudeau recently claimed to “deplore” Israel’s annexation plans and said they “are going to delay any prospect of lasting peace in the Middle East”. If the Canadian government is genuine in this belated expression of opposition to Israel’s illegal policies, then the absolute minimum expected is to impose sanctions on the Israeli government until it respects international law. Actions speak louder than words!

As Palestinian dispossession (Nakba) continues, our struggle will continue!

Virtual Days of Action: Support Palestine, End the Siege of Gaza, Boycott HP

Due to the recent public health concerns, our event to support Palestine and to demand an end to the crippling siege on Gaza will become a social media action. Join us on March 28th to mark the 2nd anniversary of the Palestinian Great Return March and the 44th anniversary of Land Day. Both occasions highlight Israel’s brutal treatment and oppression of the Palestinians, but also show us the determination of the Palestinian people for over 70 years to demand their national and human rights. Exist. Resist. Return!

Israel has killed more than 250 Palestinian protesters and injured a further 30,000 since the start of the Great Return March in Gaza 2 years ago. These ongoing protests have seen thousands of Palestinians fighting for their right of return to their villages and homes from which they were forcibly removed. Israel’s unlawful killing of protesters – including women, children, journalists and medics – have been marked as potential war crimes by the UN.

Hewlett Packard branded companies play a key role in Israel’s oppression of Palestinians. They provide equipment and services to the Israeli prison system, military and government, including the ID card system that underpin Israel’s apartheid policies and its movement restrictions for Palestinians. HP provides Israel’s Population and Immigration Authority with the exclusive Itanium servers for its Aviv System. This system enables the government to control and enforce its system of racial segregation and apartheid against Palestinian citizens of Israel, and is directly involved in Israel’s settler colonialism through its “Yesha database”, which compiles information on Israeli citizens in illegal settlements in the occupied Palestinian West Bank.

Rally to support Palestine and reject Trump’s plan

PALESTINE IS NOT FOR SALE!!

The Trump Administration has just unveiled the details of its “Deal Of The Century”. This plan includes, but is not limited to:

-Giving legitimacy to illegal Israeli settlements in Palestine
-Annexing parts of the West Bank (including the Jordan Valley)
-Granting Palestinians a “state” made up of non-contiguous cantons similar to the Bantustans under apartheid in South Africa.
-Liquidating the Palestinian right of return.

These are just some of the aspects from this plan that has already been rejected by the Palestinian people and its leadership at large.

The road to Palestinian freedom lays first and foremost in addressing Israel’s regime of settler-colonialism, occupation and apartheid, in Israel dismantling its illegal settlements as well as recognition of the right for return.

Only consistent pressure on Israel, including through support for the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions movement, can bring about lasting and meaningful change for both Israelis and Palestinians.
