Some background:
Committee activists joined the international movement demanding that the French government free Georges Abdallah. There was a picket on July 14 outside the French consulate to highlight this demand. (Abdallah was finally released on July 25, 2025.)
The committee then held a day-long protest at CBC Vancouver headquarters on August 23, 2025. (photos below)
