Don’t force us to call for a boycott of Greek products‏

The following letter was sent to the Greek Ambassador to Canada:

July 1, 2011

Greek Ambassador to Canada
Your Excellency:

By doing so, the Greek government has proven that it is prone to Israeli, US and European pressures and does not care for principles, the rule of international humanitarian law nor for the longstanding friendship between the Palestinian and Arab peoples and the Greek people.… Read more

Egyptian Army Must Stop Being Israel’s Guards on Gaza Border

Canada Palestine Association, Vancouver and Voice of Palestine, Canada endorse the call by solidarity groups and civil society organizations to the Egyptian Military and government to immediately open the Rafah crossing. The crossing opening seems to be the last thing on the Egyptian military rulers’ agenda. Thousands of Palestinians are stranded at the Cairo airport, and all over the world. Some have gone on hunger strike and the last decision taken by the deposed Mubarak government was to ban Palestinians from entering Egypt.… Read more

By Hanna Kawas

The report today by Mark Kelley on CBC Newsworld (http://www.cbc.ca/video/#/News/1221258968/ID=1779295850) was misleading and serves the interests of the Mubarak dictatorship. No foreign journalist was threatened until yesterday when the “Mubarak thugs”, as CNN report Ben Wedeman called them, took to the streets and started attacking people. Even foreign governments, including our own, managed to grasp that it is Mubarak supporters who are trying to shut down the foreign media.… Read more
