Who crafted Canada’s bogus “terrorist list”?

CPA Chair Hanna Kawas delves into Canada’s “terrorist list” and how the Zionist lobby was instrumental in having Palestinian and Lebanese resistance groups banned as such. Both the U.S. and Canadian governments are quick to remind us that they have designated these groups are “terrorist entities”, as they justify Israel’s extrajudicial assassinations that also murder hundreds (perhaps thousands) of civilians.
This presentation was part of the Right to Resist Meeting held May 8 in Vancouver, highlighting the repression globally and in Canada of pro-Palestine advocacy.

ScotiaBank name is an embarrassment

The Giller Prize has dropped Scotiabank from their name, even though they are still their leading sponsor. We are not fooled by these phoney “rebranding” moves. No business as usual @gillerprize while their sponsor ScotiaBank still funds genocide! #ShameonScotiabank

This move by Giller Prize does show that the grassroots campaign against Scotiabank’s funding of Israeli genocide is bearing results. But as we said earlier: “Any funding of genocide is too much. We will not rest until Scotiabank divests completely from Israeli war crimes.”
