GAZA IS UNDER ATTACK! Over 100 Palestinians in Gaza have been killed – including over 22 children – and hundreds wounded at the hands of Israeli missiles, bombs and fighter planes since Tuesday. While Palestinians are dying, Stephen Harper has once again reiterated his unconditional support of Israel, and MPs from across the Canadian political spectrum have been silent and complicit as the massacres continue.

Protests are being organized in cities around the world to respond to the ongoing assault on Palestine and the Palestinian people, including the bombing of Gaza and the killing of over 100 Palestinians by occupation forces; the murders of Palestinians (including 16-year-old Muhammad Abu Khdeir, murdered brutally by Israeli settlers) and ongoing settler and military brutality; the mass arrests of over 900; and the raids, attacks, tear-gassing, invasions and closure that Palestinians are being subjected to.

Join us in Vancouver to stand in solidarity, to chant and rally together and break the silence and the deception being put forward by mainstream media!

Since mid-June Israeli war crimes in Palestine have escalated, allegedly in response to the disappearance and death of 3 teenage Israeli settlers. However, this latest attack is part and parcel of the illegal occupation of Palestinian land and ongoing Israeli war crimes.
According to international media sources, in just one night Monday June 30 to dawn on Tuesday July 1 at dawn, the Israeli army carried out more than 34 air strikes against different areas in the Gaza Strip, in particular densely populated refugee camps. Additionally, in a sweeping offensive, Israeli Occupation Forces have kidnapped and detained more than 600 Palestinians, including women and children.
Red Sparks Union, the Boycott Israeli Apartheid Campaign, and the Revolutionary Student Movement are calling a rally and street theatre to protest this latest round of war crimes enacted against the Palestinian people.
